I am appalled at our justice system. William is adorable. An assault is an assault, it doesn't matter who it's against. I hope you get justice, whether it be from the Harris County District Attorney, civil suit or some other means.

As a special education teacher and mother the consequences that the paraprofessional received seem like a light slap on the wrist. Completely unacceptable!

Shameful! As a parent of children who have attended and attend this school, it is unacceptable here and everywhere. Also, as the father of a special needs child, it is very disturbing to see this behavior from the DAs office and the SBISD.

This has to stop! This should not have happened. Our schools need to be accountable! There are to many teachers and Paras in our schools working with these precious children and they are not skilled, qualified, nor do they have the heart to be teaching. Get rid of them!! Make the pay worth it for good teachers and paras to get back into our schools! My heart and prayers to this poor boy and his family!

High standards must be supported for those on authority positions with great apprection for a job well done and serious consequences for violations against those on their control. There is evidence that harm is processed differently and those making decisions have a duty to fully analysis the situation for what it is rather than imparting a blanket judgement using data from neurotypical reactions to attacks of this nature.

High standards must be supported for those on authority positions with great apprection for a job well done and serious consequences for violations against those on their control. There is evidence that harm is processed differently and those making decisions have a duty to fully analysis the situation for what it is rather than imparting a blanket judgement using data from neurotypical reactions to attacks of this nature.
