Justice for Vannessa – Fired Unfairly at Olive Garden

On [June 22,2025], Vannessa, a dedicated Mexican employee at Olive Garden, was fired following an argument with another coworker. Witnesses state that said coworker cursed at Vannessa and even encouraged a physical confrontation. Despite this, only Vannessa was terminated.
This was not a fair or unbiased decision. It reflects possible racial and procedural bias within the workplace. We demand that Olive Garden:
Rehire Vannessa immediately
Investigate the incident impartially
Provide anti-bias training for management
Sign this petition if you believe in fair treatment and justice in the workplace.
Words from Vannessa “To Whom It May Concern,
I am deeply disheartened by the circumstances surrounding the end of my employment at Olive Garden. Throughout my time there, I poured my energy into being a hardworking, efficient, and reliable employee. I maintained a spotless record with no write-ups, no drama, and a consistent commitment to excellence.
That record was dismissed in an instant due to a single emotionally charged incident involving a pregnant Caucasian female trainer. During our disagreement, she escalated the situation by cursing at me, yelling, and repeatedly provoking me—at one point even demanding that I “slap her.” Despite her aggressive and unprofessional behavior, I was the only one punished. I was terminated, while she faced no consequences at all.
It’s hard to view this as anything but unfair and racially biased. As a Mexican woman who has worked with integrity and professionalism, I can’t help but feel that I was treated differently—judged more harshly and held to a different standard. It’s especially painful knowing that my contributions were overlooked, and that the outcome did not reflect a fair or impartial handling of the situation.
I share this because no employee, regardless of their background, should be made to feel disposable or less valued. We all deserve to be treated with dignity and judged by our actions—not by stereotypes or double standards.
Sincerely,
[Vannessa ]
