I did not attend Valley High but my father taught at Valley High for decades and some of my best friends and memories were the battles on the gridiron between my school (Burrell) and Valley High. Truly some of the greatest memories of my life!

This has been going on for years well before I graduated in 2008. It is disheartening to hear that in 2017, an outside team comes to our home field and disrespects our players, coaches, staff, school and community with racial slurs. This has to stop.
