গত ২০ মার্চ, ২০১৬ সন্ধ্যায় ধর্ষিত ও নিহত হয় ১৯ বছর বয়সী ইতিহাসের ছাত্রী সোহাগী জাহান তনু। ঘটনাটি ঘটে কুমিল্লা সেনানিবাসের ভেতরেই। যদিও কর্তৃপক্ষ এর ন্যায়বিচারের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছে, কিন্তু এর আগে এরকম বহু ঘটনার কোন সুরাহা হয়নি বলে স্বস্তি পাচ্ছে না মানুষ। এখন সময় এসেছে তনু এবং আর সকল নির্যাতিতাদের ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করার।
