NO PAYMENT REQUIRED NO PAYMENT REQUIRED NO PAYMENT REQUIRED!!!!!

To the Inspector General of Police in Kenya (Hillary Mutyambi)

"Earlier this year, the government implemented a curfew to help curb the further spread of Covid-19 in Kenya. The intention of a dask to dawn curfew was put in place for the public's health but has since been the cause of numerous killings including young children, such as Yassin Moyo.

As you know it is not the first time the police are using excess force & killing children, our call for action dates back to the death of young Baby Pendo, Geoffrey Mutinda & others.

Sign the petition to show our government we can no longer sit and watch the unnecessary violence, ruthless shooting, beating & extortion money from innocent Kenyans.

The world is hurting & people are dying,we all feel helpless but we shouldn't lose hope, let's try our best in any way we can,to bring change and restore hope & justice. A statement made by Colin Kaepernick addressing the issue in the United States and is one which resonated with me,when he said "we have a lot of people that are oppressed. We have a lot of people that aren't treated equally, aren't given equal opportunities. Police brutality is a huge thing that needs to be addressed. There are a lot of issues that need to be talked about ,need to be brought to life, and we need to fix those." " By Joy P. Ouko

It is very unfortunate that children are a part of police brutality incidents in Kenya. It is not right, not even for the grown ups. Justice should be served. Those police officers need to stop acting like they're some type of gang. They are in the police force to protect us not put us in more danger.

It's extremely disgusting how the police force take action and makes me and many other kenyans ashamed to call them our own. On top of that, the government nor any media company's and so called "influencers" speak on matters that affect their fellow citizens. Those meant to save us are the same ones who kill us.

I am signing this petition on behalf of me and my family asking that police brutality be put to an end and calling for justice for the people who have lost their lives and for those who have been injured! Our law enforcement must be held accountable for their actions, hence I’m calling for the persecution of the officers involved in these illegal acts.

The Kenyan National Police Service prides it’s self in providing service to all however it’s a service deeply rooted in colonialism that’s been built on violence and exertion of force. WE WANT TO SEE CHANGE !
