The AHA needs to do the right thing by striping titles that these horses should not have been able to compete for. Stinks of human deception!!

As small breeder and competitor with Half-Arabian horses I also think that all titles and winnings should be revoked and the true winners recognized. We rely on AHA to oversee the registry for Arabian horses and allowing Quarter Horses to retain Arabian titles is ludicrous.

It is not right or fair to the rest of the Arabian horse world to list two purebred Quarter Horses forever in the record books that are supposed to be restricted to Half-Arabian Champions and Reserve Champions. The horses' records need to be expunged and the rightful winners be given the recognition due their horses.

I think since they truly do not have the required amount of Arabian blood, they should be stripped of all prizes and awarded monies. We need to all compete on a level playing field regardless of who bred or owns them....

In any registry--cancellation of papers cancels all progeny papers and titles fraudulently won. The same should occur here. It matters not if you unknowingly receive stolen good, they remain stolen goods!

Irrelevant that the new owner didnt know better. A non Arabian cant hold an Arabian title. Period.

Also think the horses that showed as jr horses that are not should be stripped of their titles as well. Please do the right thing and keep our faith in AHA!

AHA Needs to take all steps necessary to assist show officials put the placings where they need to be ...discredit those non-half Arabs and bump all horses behind it up to the next upper placing, AND suspend and fine those that falsified papers claiming half-Arab blood!

how can a horse with no Arab blood retain a title? If this decision was based on discussion with lawyers, perhaps a compromise of a an asterisked title, shared with the blooded horse who would have won if the non-blooded horse was stripped of its fraudulent title should be considered.

These horses should have all of their titles/awards striped and given to the rightful winners, the actual arabs and half arabs. As the owner of two half arabs, I find the way that the AHA is handleing this situation appalling.

My opinion: The horses' registration was as invalid, without the current owner's knowledge, just as a stolen horse purchased in good faith by an unsuspecting owner is still a stolen horse!
