Only 18 out of the 50 states in the U.S include cyber-bullying in their anti-bullying legislation. Bullying is a serious issue, and even when teens are home they have access to social media, which is such a huge platform. It is important to have rules and restrictions against cyberbullying because out of all places, that is where adults have the least amount of influence.
Our goal is to bring attention to the topic so that people will realize that we need to consider cyberbullying as a for of bullying because it is in fact very serious.. We want all 50 states to include cyberbullying in their anti bullying legislation.
