Justice For Syrians
Amnesty International released a petition regarding the chemical attack that took place on April 4th. The attack hit the city of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib and resulted in the death of more than 70 civilians and left hundreds wounded.
Even though no one is claiming responsibility of the attacks, including Russia and the Syrian regime, there is an ongoing investigation to reveal the assailants and bring justice to Syrians.
The 2017 chemical attack was not a first. Several attacks have been deployed since 2013 by the regime, they targeted innocent civilians. Sadly, despite the ongoing bloodshed, justice has not yet been served.
All in all, the Syrian conflict has took the lives of more than 400,000 lives and left behind hundreds of injured souls. It also caused the exodus of more than half of the entire Syrian population.
Up until this day, perpetrators remain unknown and unsanctioned, while innocent civilians continue to be harmed on daily basis.
Time for justice is now!
Justice must be served to the injured and their families. We must work towards punishing those who initiate war crimes and crimes against humanity, because the world should not suffer any longer.
