For many years many people have lost beloved pets on Middle Wallop Rd due to people speeding. In 2008 the neighbors came together and demanded they add speed bumps in our neighborhood, and they did, but they added them too far away from where the kids play and where the animals keep dying. On September 19th 2017 my cat Spooky had gotten out and we found her an hour later with every single bone in her body broken including her skull. Her injuries were too bad and she could not be saved, this is not the first cat to die and if we don't get new speed bumps she definitely will not be the last. Children have been injured too due to speeding cars knocking them off their bikes, skates, scooters, and skateboards. It wont be long until it's a child that is killed. We need to take action now before another animal or a child is taken away from their families. Help Porter Square get the speed bumps they need. You could save a life.
