For many years many people have lost beloved pets on Middle Wallop Rd due to people speeding. In 2008 the neighbors came together and demanded they add speed bumps in our neighborhood, and they did, but they added them too far away from where the kids play and where the animals keep dying. On September 19th 2017 my cat Spooky had gotten out and we found her an hour later with every single bone in her body broken including her skull. Her injuries were too bad and she could not be saved, this is not the first cat to die and if we don't get new speed bumps she definitely will not be the last. Children have been injured too due to speeding cars knocking them off their bikes, skates, scooters, and skateboards. It wont be long until it's a child that is killed. We need to take action now before another animal or a child is taken away from their families. Help Porter Square get the speed bumps they need. You could save a life.

My friend lives in this neighborhood and her neighbor 's cat and several other animals I have heard have lost there lives . And the motorist aren't even stopping . How inhuman! Next time it might be a small child & that's also a life .
Courtney, I am so sorry for the loss of your cat, Spooky,. It took a lot of gots to go to those congressman and ask for those speedbumps and I hope you get them!!!!
Thsee speedbumps are absolutely necessary in order to save lives. People, young and old, are in too much of a hurry and are not paying attention to what is going on around them when they are driving. Innocent children and animals are being injured or killed every day due the carelessness of these drivers. Speedbumps can and will slow these drivers down considerably, and save innocent lives!!
Yes I agree something's got to be done I've seen these cars go 30 40 miles an hour in this residential area too many animals have been killed and I don't want to wait until the next one is a child please put the proper speed bumps in and stop these idiots
Speed bumps are desperately needed, everyone comes down middle wallop to avoid the speed bumps on the main road that goes back to Springwood,

My friend lives here and maybe three years ago a girl actually got hit by a car on this road. This is not just about the animals.
