I want to assure you and anyone else reading this that another student has already approached her registrar, had a meeting with them and they actually recommended her to approach the department. She’s taken all the necessary steps before meeting with the chair.

I think that the grading is the main concern which is the responsibility of the TA NOT the professor. I too, was not happy with my original mark but I met the professor made my points about why I disagreed with the mark, then he read the test and adjusted my mark accordingly. He is very approachable and friendly if anything the fault is with the TA. I hope that whoever organized this meeting has taken appropriate steps before going to the chair.

Definitely the worst course I have ever taken! I am a Sociology Major, and I love Sociology courses but this has been an awful learning experience! Never imagined myself disliking a Sociology course, and the reason behind me disliking the course has nothing to do with the contents, but simply with the lecturer, grader, and the teaching methods.

I am a Sociologist major student who loves Sociology courses, but I had to end up making this course a CR/NCR after seeing the mark on my first midterm which was unfairly and inproperly graded. When I spoke to Prof Green about it in person, I knew right away that it wasn't going anywhere so I had to stick to the mark that I got.
His lectures are full of jargons, and he reads off his lecture notes word by word without offering any appropriate explanations. I literally learned zero new things that I didn't know before about Gender Relations. He is always late to class and the quality of his teaching is extremely poor. This is so unfair to students!

TA has marked my well done work very poorly. Never in my university experience have I ever received a grade so poor.This grade does not reflect my transcript well.

Everything in the summary is what I would've said myself. It honestly has been the worst course I've taken at UofT.
