It's a disgrace and the very reason why many survivors never speak up!! These people are getting away with crimes that impact a whole life and should be treated accordingly

The Justice System needs to reflect on the life long trauma for victims of sexual abuse. It is not ok for a perpetrator to get away with it nor receive a light sentence.

As a sexual abuse survivor the lasting impacts of what is done to the victim are life long. So often times victims don’t report. My state has a statute of limitations so by the time I had the courage to report no legal charges could be brought. I never got my justice, and that is something I must live with EVERY day. This little girl was BRAVE!!! This little girl was COURAGEOUS!!! This little girl DESERVES justice!!! Do your job!!!!

I am from a different country but I was raised by an abusive father who I believe did something sexual to us when we were kids but my mother didn't want to admit it. You are a strong woman and I hope your ex gets incarcerated. Dont give up fight for your daughters. Please dont ever give up. Thank you for believing her.
