I let my niece and her two kids (10 & 8 mos) move in with me for what was suppose to be two weeks after other family members put her out. From April the 8 to July 18 i kept her kids so she would be able to keep her job for free. After the first month I told her that she would have to help pay the electricity. That was in May. I charged her 150.00 a month plus electricity. In June she was suppose to move and something happened with the apartment and she didn't move, so she gives me an extra 100.00 dollars for food and household items like soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Up until that point she had not given me anything towards the items that she used on a daily basics. She used my things like they were hers. July the 17th was her move out date, that she didn't move out on. On the 17th I asked her for my key back. She told me that was leaving on the 20th. I told her fine but I will keep my key because I didn't want her to have a key made without my permission. I wanted her out before I went to stay with my daughter that had military for two weeks starting on the 27th of July. i told her that I was not putting her out and I wouldn't do that and if she moving out on the 20th than a few days wouldn't make a different. She told me that it was an inconvenience to her. I told her that I had been inconvenienced for three months and I didn't think three days was asking to much. On the 18th when I left for work she left too. I asked her about my money and she said that she would pay me when she came back the following day. I have not heard from her since and she changed her number. I live on a fixed income and I need the money she owes. Its 135.00
