Sash’s school is threatening to make him repeat 7th grade because he failed his maths tests. Sash was diagnosed one year ago with a maths learning disorder and the only special help the school has provided is one 45 minute extra maths class per week. According to Professor Butterworth, the leading authority in Europe on maths learning disorders, repeating maths lessons that have failed with children like Sash is ineffective and often counter productive. Sash has passed all his other classes, with some improvement on the previous year. Forcing him to repeat 7th grade will be a disaster for his self esteem and serve no useful purpose.

Let Sash move on to 8th grade!

Sashu šola grozi, da bo moral ponavljati sedmi razred, ker mu ni uspelo narediti matematike. Sashu je bila pred enim letom postavljena diagnoza učne motnje pri matematiki.
