Mr. Robert Sylvester Kelly is being done wrong. He is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY - isn’t this America? That’s the law. He deserves a bond & given the RIGHT to fight his case from outside those bars with his attorneys by his side. He needs to go over all of the discovery w attorneys & is unable to do so in jail. 15 mins weekly is not nearly enough time to go over hundreds of documents. He is NOT a flight risk because for one, he doesn’t like flying. For two, he doesn’t have the means to. For three, the Govt has confiscated his PASSPORT. How can someone “flee” without a passport? That is IMPOSSIBLE. He has never been convicted of any crimes, not even a speeding ticket. He also has followed ALL PRE TRIAL requirements in this case as well as the 2008 trial. He has never missed a court date, except once, and he had the judge’s approval for his court appearance to be waived. PLEASE GIVE HIM A BOND. Fair is fair. Right is right. Wrong is wrong. This is wrong. How can you hold someone and not give them a bail with a case this big? Unfair. ILLEGAL.
