Disgusting sentence for taking a man's life! If u carry a knife then you intend to use it and in my book that's murder - life for a life!!!

An absolute disgrace this sentence!!!
Stab someone to death have an easy ride through our system.
It needs to be looked at and I hope it gets increased otherwise we might as well all go around with knives in our pockets for protection. Self defence may even be a lower sentence, which would never make sense.

This sentence does nothing to deter knife crime. It's not manslaughter...it's not self-defence...it's murder. Anyone who goes out carrying a weapon, intends to use it. Should be 20 years minimum.

Justice needs serving and the right message sent to other teens who will now think its OK to take a life because you will be out in a few years. murder is murder and should carry just as heavy sentence regardless of whether a knife was used or a gun, if my lovely cousin had been shot this would be a completely different sentence

I really hope that this sentence is re-looked into. This is 100% what is wrong with the justice system nowadays and why society is the way it is! This sentence does not justify someone’s life who was so cruelly taken infact if anything it’s an insult and shows people who continue to commit these crimes that they can continue to do so as the repercussions of crime are minimal!
