Tuesday, May 11, 2021 Reaqwon Malik Garrick was murdered without a chance to even defend his life. The case was closed before we could even peacefully put him to rest. We truly believe this case was not thoroughly investigated and that there are more people that know information and need to come forth. Everyone that knew Reaqwon knew there wasn’t a violent bone in his body. He was caring, loving, hard working, a family man, dog lover, sweetheart. A life taken way too soon. Reaqwon was a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, best friend and associate to many people. He was on his way to finishing the engineering program at Midlands Technical College and he was pursuing his career head on. Please sign this petition so we can get the City of Columbia Police Department to reopen this case and fully/thoroughly investigate this case again!
