The federal investigation we demanded is finally happening. Those cowards in power tried to bury us but you refused to let them hide the truth. We are watching every step they take now to ensure these criminals face actual justice.

We believe that the child abuse prevention system in the State of Oregon is broken.

Our daughter was a victim of child abuse at the hands of a local politician and his family. We believe her case was intentionally mishandled at all levels of the system. She was denied treatment at two local hospitals after sustaining 1nd and 2rd degree burns on 10-19% of her body. We were told by several doctors to go to the medical store and get some bandages and silvadene and manage the massive injury alone in our home. We were given no supplies, medicine, instructions, or supervision of any kind. She eventually went into organ failure and almost died and now suffers from a host of compounding medical issues as a result of what happened to her. We have been repeatedly denied an investigation by all Local, State, and Federal officials. No one has ever been investigated, charged, or prosecuted for what happened to her. The people who harmed her have taken zero responsibility! We are now asking everyone to join us so we can secure a full and fair investigation from the proper authorities into this matter. Please join us in asking why the State of Oregon is covering up child abuse and child neglect?

Urge the Federal Government to investigate this matter and to address the problems that allowed it to happen.

Thank You,

The Stephens Family

The blatant cowardice of Oregon officials is proof that they will protect their own political power before they protect a suffering child. We are fighting a system that wants to bury the truth about how they left my daughter to die. Keep the pressure on them because we are not going to let these criminals evade justice.

The massive surge in support proves people are finally seeing through the pathetic cover-up orchestrated by these cowardly officials. Oregon politicians think they can silence us and bury the truth about what happened to Qadira but they are dead wrong.

I would like hospitals to be held accountable for providing obviously inadequate care to Qadira and an end to racism in healthcare.

Not only have I read the book, but I've also had contact with Stephens. It's difficult to comprehend how everything that could go wrong did. It's time someone gives this family answers and closure.

To the state of Oregon, protect that child at all cost. Somethings obviously fishy here with to many powerful people protecting the parents & not the child.

Yes, the foster care system is terrible. I am so sorry there was not the needed help for your daughter, at the time of injury. No accountability is disgusting
