The system failed Pete. This person was not supposed to be driving but she was. Simply taking her license away did nothing. Now it's her freedom that needs to be taken away. Just as Pete was taken away from his friends and family.

This woman doesn’t deserve a reduction in her bond. She took away an amazing man whose life touched everyone that knew him. She didn’t make a mistake and it wasn’t an accident. It was a choice, her choice, and she needs to rot in jail and suffer the consequences of her decisions. She gets to eat, sleep and breath in a cell after taking those very things away from Pete. His family deserves justice and allowing her the possibility to be out on bail is ludicrous and irresponsible. DO NOT give her the chance that’s she’s already been given and abused several times before. She took an innocent life and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

There should be no bind for repeat offenders of DUI and killing a person. They will just be back on the road endangering lives again and breaking the law in more ways than one.

Pete was Killed by a drunk driver that didn’t even stop when she hit him. She was driving on a suspended/revoked license - so she should not have even been on the road. We need to make sure no one else loses a loved one because of this woman. This isn’t her first dui either!
