We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the treatment that Pearl Mathebula received at the hands of Miss Teenager South Africa. Pearl is a young woman of vision, talent, and integrity who has worked tirelessly to represent South Africa with grace, excellence, and pride.

Instead of being celebrated and supported, Pearl faced unjust treatment that undermined her dignity, hard work, and contributions to the pageant and modeling community. No young woman should ever be subjected to unfair practices, discrimination, or exploitation—especially within platforms that claim to empower and uplift youth.

This petition calls for:

1. A formal apology to Pearl Mathebula for the mistreatment she endured.


2. Accountability and transparency from the organizers of Miss Teenager South Africa regarding their actions and decisions.


3. Implementation of fair treatment policies to ensure that no other contestant experiences similar injustice in the future.


4. Protection of young models and contestants from exploitation, favoritism, and emotional harm within pageantry.



Pearl is more than a title—she is a role model, a youth leader, and a symbol of hope to many young girls across South Africa. The way she was treated is unacceptable, and it is our collective responsibility to demand justice, fairness, and respect for her and all other young women who place their trust in these institutions.
