Dear Friends, The election commision of Pakistan has put a bar on people holding dual nationalities from contesting elections. This decision is to come in force in March 2012. Currently there is a private bill in the national assembly of Pakistan to stop dual nationals from having jobs in the civil service. We the undersigned agree that this is grave injustice against dual nationals. We urge the Election Comission and Pakistan Government to re consider the decision. Dual Nationals contribute millions to the Pakistan economy, social projects and to the welfare of the country. The governmemt and election comission needs recognise this contribution and investment and treat dual nationals fairly. If we dont act today more of our rights will be eroded. To make a difference just click on the link and enter your details to join my campaign, and make real change happen. Nasir Ilyas Thank you for your time. Pakistan Zindabad.

Legal counsel is currently reviewing the language of the proposed civil service bill to identify specific constitutional grounds for a formal challenge. I have initiated contact with parliamentary staff to arrange a briefing regarding the economic impact of these exclusionary policies.

Ridiculous discriminatory policies. Many overseas Pakistanis are more qualified than the people currently in charge. Let us serve our country.

This is ridiculous. We send so much money back home every year but now we get treated like we are not even Pakistani enough. Fix this now.
