I am the 1st cousin of Bleu n Cash. I grew up with Bleu he was brand new and only a puppy I was only 4 r 5 now 13. I'm always at my Aunt's house and I have never had a encounter with her furry friends. Cash was very sweet she was like a good soft pillow. She would let us lay on her. Bleu would play, eat, n sleep, with us. I'm so sad and in disbelief that the police did this to us. I ask myself, had we been there would they have shot Bleu and Cash in front of us. Cash just had her pups 3 months ago. So so saddened. I Love You, Auntie Nikki, Tori, Maori.

The actions of Pearland Police Dept. were truly horrible. I have 2 dogs and ever since I read what happened I'm terrified that somehow my locked gates will be compromised and my sweet girls will be murdered by our police department. One of my dogs is an American Staffordshire (AKA Pit Bull) and she's a sweetheart. My heart breaks over what happened to the Giles family. Our pets are our children.....

I am a huge supporter of first responders and highly value the work they do everyday! Please do not shoot an animal if owners or animal control is present. Any animal will be aggressive when approached by people other than its owners.

Why kill a pit bull because it was aggressive? With any pit bull they are going to be aggressive. Are you going to start killing every dog because they seem wild? What dog isn’t wild?

Bleu was a kind loving sweet dog my sister got blue as a puppy from her boy friend at the time he was more than a dog to my niece"s and my sister je was a brother and a son although i didnt get a chance to get to know my sisters other dog i did meet her as a puppy and knowing how responsible my sister is and how much she loves animals i also know that my sister did vast research on her animals and she wouldnt have viscious animals espically where other children live and play including her ownas children and adults we both have had all types of dogs and pitbulls have become our favorite people have given this breed of dog a bad rep pits are sweet intelligent and very affectionate im sorry that humans are so ignorant. Im sorry for my familys lost they where more than dogs to us
