The punishment for these boys should be no different from punishments meted out to American males who commit likewise abhorrent crimes. If these boys/men are let off more easily than they would have been if they had been indigenous Americans, it will be similar to what's happening in Sweden where women are raped and gang raped by immigrants, and the perpetrators get off with little more than a scolding. (Reference the recent account of 4 men raping a young women on a ferry, and how all 4 were let off because they said the girl wanted to be gang banged. And the young woman couldn't PROVE otherwise. Yeah, right!

There are zero consequences for anyone no matte race age gender. However more and more leniency to the point justice has been crushed

These parents need to be brought up on charges as they are responsible for their children's actions. They should fully understand that this kind of behavior is not acceptable in this nation. The Imam of the local mosque needs to educate his community.

This innocent child will live with fear and trauma for the rest of her life. Regardless of the ages of these criminals who did this to her, they deserve the harshest sentence possible. If it were up to me they would be put to death. If they are illegals, which from all I've read they are, they must be deported pronto. We need the wall built and all immigration must be stopped at least until the FBI can properly vet them.

I do not understand how Grant Loebs can make statements like there was no rape, there was no knife, one boy did nothing wrong. Is he taking the word of the assailants? Is he listening to an emotional 5 year old victim? Did they collect samples for DNA and if they did shouldn't this be information that comes out in a trial not a judgement by the prosecutor. The story we heard was a neighbor walked in on this and witnessed part of it. It was his story that first came out, now it sounds like the incident has been watered down.
