What he committed is attempted murder. Murder of nikita and of any children she might have had in the future. To give him 8 years is a joke when will the justice system get justice right it's just ridiculous why should she have to worry about him for the rest of her life. she received a life sentence so should he. It's sentences like this that will make the public turn to vigilante behaviour. Take note the world is tired of being held at the mercy of evil people like that scumbag it won't be too long before decent people take the law into their own hand and then we will really be in a state

There is no justice in the sentence that this person received. As a female Australian citizen, I am appalled and horrified by the lenient sentences that the perpetrators of these type of heinous crimes receive. Judges of Australia, do you really believe that it is in the communities best interest to have this sick minded human back in the community after 8 years? Is this justice? What if this happened to your daughter? Lock him and his kind up for the term of their natural life! We want more severe sentencing, NOW!!!
