This business has been established for 20 years and continues to serve the City of McFarland. It's only fair that the City find empty lots or abandoned non functioning areas,. Or pay the going price.

I say either make the man a fair offer, or leave him and his business be. I would think after 20 plus years of service to the community of McFarland that the city leaders would have the decency to be fair.

Yes I agree the owner should be given what he is asking monetary compensation. I agree the owner is an example of the American dream! I received excellent customer service.all the time.

I'm not from the area but I've seen this done in our area. Go somewhere else and build your parking lot! Leave this person ALONE!

The money being compensated is so unfair. No one should be unvoluntarily forced to relocate or close their business to fulfill the city's needs. There is plenty of unoccupied land to create more parking spaces.
