City officials need to take care in reassessing the benefits this company brings to the city, and allow it to remain in operation. Barring that, city officials need to offer fair recompense for the market value of the business' land, structures occupying the land, and value of the business itself, because they are asking a man to close his business which has been employing locals, thus supporting his own and other local families, since before these council members were ever elected.

I support McFarland Tire Shop. It is so unfair that someone has built his life and worked hard and the city wants to give him little compensation to relocate. It angers me that the city doesn't take into consideration how much everything cost to relocate. It's either you take what they offer or you lose everything. Well it's time to take a stand! Let's help McFarland Tire stay where they are or at least compensate for all that it takes to relocate, including labor
