In July 2014..My good friend Matt was killed while being transported for a mental break down...He was hospitalized in Chico Ca. The next day after being admitted, he was transported to Redding Ca. On arrival something went deathly wrong..The police was called in, trying to get Matt out of the vehicle....There was only 1 driver..He locked Matt in and went to call the police..In trying to get him out, they noticed he wasn't breathing..he was in critical condition for about a week...he was on life support...his brain was swollen..I believe if there was 2 transport drivers, the patient would better be handled..and they need to make sure the patient is stable...this is not the first patient to die this way..so could you sign to better protect mental illness transportation..
