Very sad loss for our neighbourhood! City must apply penalties to offenders or urban wildlife/vulnerable or endangered species suffer habitat loss, esp. in part of the City with less park/green space protection than other zones. V5K 1E4

This is a crime. The developer and builder should face tough punitive measures. Tough enough to prevent them from doing this again. Shame, shame, shame. V5L 1E6 (until recently resided for 9 years at V5K 1E6)

This has happened next door to our house as well and although I kept calling them, they refused to come out and stop the destruction. City needs to get tough about maintaining heritage trees.
