Dear Senator Durbin,

Our Dear Brother Lorenzo Solorzano-Morales is facing deportation. This father and husband is sanctuary at the Faith Life and Hope Mission of Father Landaverde at 900 w. Roosevelt Road in West Chicago. We are deeply concerned for him as a member of the body of our community facing a period of pain and alienation. Seperated from his family and his work and a dignified, productive life he awaits action, the suspension of his deportation order. He is not now nor has he ever been a threat to society and he does not deserve to lose everything at the hands of an immigration system that has wrought so much division and sorrow. We call on you to do all within your power as our Senator to pressure the Department of Immigration to remove the deportation proceedings against our brother Lorenzo, that he be immediately allowed to reunify with his family and community who need him.
