It is shameful how Indian universities keep rushing to Africa to recruit students, yet when those same students arrive, their lives are treated with no value. Education is not only about collecting money, if you truly want our presence, you must also protect our existence. You cannot exploit African students for fees while turning a blind eye to the violence, discrimination, and injustices they face.
How many more murders, accidents, and brutalities must happen before justice is served? Just yesterday, a student was beaten to death by school security, how can human life be reduced to silence like this? We will not accept this culture of cover-ups and unfair judgment.
We demand justice, not only for this student, but for every African student whose case was buried without answers. Protect the students you are recruiting from Africa, or stop recruiting them altogether. We are not just a source of money, we are human beings, and our lives matter.
Justice must be done, and protection must be guaranteed for the future students you are already seeking in Africa. Enough is enough.
