I, was sentenced to 5 years to life. Was forced to do 15 1/2 years out of that sentence. I, was released in December 23rd of 2005. And, I never looked back. Even though I will forever be a lifer; I don't allow that to stop me from being the son, father and husband I am today.

I support my comrades who were products of their environments and were raised in perilous times and had to adapt to the environments that raised them. Babies who were taught, trained and forced in many situations to make the decisions they made.

To hold a child from the age of 14/15 until they are in their 40's or 50 years old is not only cruel and unusual punishment but downright criminal. These people that hold the fate of these once children should be brought up on charges and imprisoned for crimes against children and humanity. #FREEYOUNGMACKMOTON
