I spent a lot of time with Jude while volunteering at the fire department. He was always friendly, curtious, and helpful. He is a part of the community, and everyone should appreciate his friendship.

This is upsurd! Jude's entire life "is" Lakeview! He lives in a small community where everyone knows him and should respect and support him. Whatever happened here could have been delt with MUCH differently, in my opinion! I have a son (who is thirty) , who has "special needs" and he went to elementary/Jr High with Jude. We've moved away from Lakeview but I've often thought how lucky Jude was to be living in Lakeview amoung caring neighbors and friends. Hope this can be resolved in a positive way!

I thought Jude in Elementary school, and he was and is a sweet young man. I am saddened to hear this. I pray that this is resolved soon.

Shame on those who are trying to take this part of Jude's life away. I will donate 10 bags of candy to the vehicle/organization who decides to be decent human beings and invite this man back into the parade.

I have known Jude since he was a little boy. He is as honest as the day is long.

Jude is a wonderful young man. He does not deserve the treatment he received!

Let's keep a person's heart intact - EMT and parades are his world that he looks forward to. I love it when communities acknowledge the least fortunate. Don't take his life away from him.

Jude is a great guy. Why is he been bullied like this?

This is cruel and evil to keep this gentleman from participating due to someone else's ignorance of the placing of the candy plus childish punishment for someone with special needs... Obviously this person has a kind heart and soul!!

Taking this precious gift away from this man is beyond wrong. What have we turned into that we no longer have compassion for our fellow man especially those with limitations.
