Absolutely disgusting how lenient this sentence was. She chose to take drugs and drive, there is no excuse. A decent mother would not have made this choice and another mother almost lost her son because of it. She should be in jail and her children in care.

And yet another miscarriage of justice, no one forced her to take those drugs, or get in the car, hopefully her very soft sentence will be looked into.

This could have been my son or daughter, I don't care if this women has children,they should be taken away from her, she is not fit for the job. Lock her up and make her go cold turkey

Why is this woman even allowed to be in charge of children with this amount of drug abuse? Disgustingly lenient in my opinion!

Unbelievable! Apart from Josh's extreme suffering, those children deserve better. The sentence is appalling.

I think she should of been sent to go to prison for what she did for a long time, that boy has more of a sentence than what she's got, it's disgraceful.

I don't know Josh or his family but I completely agree that this sentence is far too lenient. I would also question why the woman has been allowed to keep her family if she is a known drug addict?! She should be banned from driving, serve at least some time in prison preferably 3-6months minimum and made to attend a rehab clinic. I hope this petition works
