It is disgusting that this woman has not served a prison sentence. Her two children would be safer without her and the poor young man involved will have a lifetime of recovery, physically and mentally.

Recovery from severe trauma is as much mental as it is physical, and by not punishing this woman with jail time the judge is harming Josh's well-being. Send her to jail now.

All the best Josh. Hope you succeed in getting her properly punished and that you make a full recovery.

It is a disgrace that this poor excuse of a Mother and human being is able to walk around town without a care in the world, while this poor lad, who is trying to better himself through further education, is left scarred both physically and mentally. Good luck Joshua,.

What a travesty of justice! That woman should have received a custodial sentence. I feel so sorry for Josh Ladd and hope he will make a good recovery from his injuries.

This woman also drove into my 22 yr old friend and her partner the week before at the Tesco's roundabout. She drove onto the roundabout without stopping or even braking..... all caught on their camera!!

This decision shows that the law protects the guilty not the innocent. It's about time it was reversed.

The person responsible for this has in my opinion had an unduly lenient sentence and is showing so much remorse she's tegularly drunk or 'on something' giggling as she walks the town where she lives as tho she hasn't a care in the world
