This just makes things more complicated with having to be in school on time ,with all the traffic in the morning .

I have alot of friends that go to Mac and I remember how strict the come late stay late policy is from middle school. I am lucky enough to go to a very small school now without the same issues of traffic of thousands of students attempting to get to class SUPER early. This petition has a very very strong point and I agree that without the stress of come late stay late, future instances of this just might be avoided.

School is way to early. I think 7:30 is a good time for school to start, we can actually see clearly, and think more people will make it to school on time.

It really is unfair! My mom has to wake up rushed when i miss the bus . i pray for her and all the parents who take there students to school. And i pray for all the kids who walk to school rushed. Honestly this should have never happened! But i shall keep all of joses family and frinds in my prayer's.

Its a tragedy that we have lost yet another great strong general. I really breaks my heart seeing how a corrupt school and regulations can tear down and break a family in pieces. I am also a student at senior macarthur highschool and all these regulations of come late stay late and d hall and sac is just pathetic. Seeing the danger of rushing to school before 6:55 just so that you dont have to stay after for 2 hours. Tell me if this isnt stupid. And what boils my blood is that something HAS to happen inorder for this corrupt and pathetic government to do something about it . My brother jose died in vain and i want justice.

Something must be done! From 7:10 a.m to 6:50 a.m if you ask me that is ridiculous!! Either put more lights & supervision on the streets for those kids or change the time for them to be in their classes!

its a tragic that we as students only think about a good day at school , but sometimes staying after school for being a minute late is unnessacery , so we are in a hurry know that we start school earlier , they can either switch the timing or remove come late stay late or more supervision .

As a formor senior of class of 2015. i didn't attend Mac but i know what it feels like rushing to school to make it on time as a college student today. everyone should be safe going to school and getting a higher education no matter what. #JusticeForJose
