There is no way that this shooting can be justified. As a trained officer Kerrick should have known how to stop this young man with one or two shots to the knees. Ten shots were excessive and uncalled for. If the officer had been black and the suspect white he would have been found guilty within 5 minutes of leaving the jury box. Racism is the driving force in this situation!
