Take a stand for what is right! An unarmed man was shot 10 times for no reason. A taser should have been used first! No justice, no peace!

A mistrial is bad for both sides. I want to trust our law enforcement but without a doubt, much more training is needed along with strong community ties between police and citizens. Ferrell family needs closure and we truly need to learn from this. THAT night also needs to be a significant part of training in police dept

I'm praying for the family. I was arrested just for asking where to go & get my husband out of jail. They thought by arresting me it would provoke my husband. He was told that he had 9 warrants after we were stopped for an "estimated" speed of 53 in a 35, not "clocked" by the officer's own words. My husband was asked to get out of the car and the officer grabbed for his hand and my husband said I will put them behind my back & the officer said that wasn't a request so my husband just went down on his knees & lay face down, put his hands behind his back before they could ruff him up & 1 cop still dropped his knee on his head 3 times while my husband was on the ground in hand cuffs, while the cop was yelling stop resisting so the people that came out of their home would concentrate on his voice in stead of the use of force. After about 10 minutes they were told that the date of birth on the warrants didn't match so the cop asked my husband did he know why he was being arrested & my husband said, "no" & the cop said you failed to stop for my blue light but the report said we stopped after a 1000 ft. They lied on the stand but the Judge said that if my husband did 24 hrs of community service she would give him a prayer for judgement & dismiss the charges once the service was completed. The cop that dropped the 3 knees was not in court even though we asked for him to be there to answer for what he did. I was found not guilty but they got away with assaulting my husband & when we requested the dash cam video 2 times it got deleted by so called accident even though the policy says they are to keep it 90 days before it can be recycled. The Judge said she didn't think they deleted the video to be malicious after the Assistant DA read a supreme court case to cover their ass. The cops think that badge gives them the right to play God but as long as we speak out & keep protesting we will get justice for Jonathan Ferrell!
