Hello, My name is Patricia Bishop. My daughter is Jennifer French. At the age of 19, her live was taken. Well it took 4 yrs for the police to find someone. Well nine years have passed and there isn't a trial for the  my daughter's murder. There has been an arrest . He hasn't been able to keep representation. He finally was on his fifth lawyer. This was just a few days ago. To avoid a trial again, he threatened to kill his attorney's wife. He received no disciplinary action for that incident. However, I did. NO TRIAL. postponed.Yet again. Also during one of the pretrials, i was scolded. I made shirts with my daughter's portrait. I wore it in the courtroom. I was informed by the courtroom workers not to ever wear that shirt again. Stating The defendant could get a mistrial, for my attire. My choice of clothing wasn't why we were there. You see, I have to deal with my daughter's loss, on a daily basis. So when I am told a trial date is set, I have a sense of relief. Only to keep having it snatched away. Here is my deal, after nine years my daughter deserves justice. Our family deservesjustice. We are not bad people. Not saying The defendant is. If the man is innocent he needs to be set free, so we can find the actual shooter. However, if he is guilty, I need closure. Every time a court date is cancelled its as if I am being told for the first time, she's dead. Her being gone is a struggle by itself. I should not have to keep enduring this. It is torture. Inhumane. Why do I not have as many rights as him. You know, I pay my way. I take care of my bills. He don't. The state pays his way. I need something done about our justice system. There needs to be a limit on how long you can drag this out. Since my daughter died, I've also lost both parents.  We need action. If you can't share my story, maybe you know who can. I really appreciate your time. Thank you for reading this. If you can or can't help me, I understand. I am just trying anything I can think of. I am desperate for justice.
