Jax Gratton wasn't just a friend to the community, she was my friend.
I was at the Mallory Manor motel 11 days after she disappeared, hanging flyers. I was told to go there after stopping at the big bunny motel and speaking to man named Roy. He said that he saw her there with a man who frequents the West Colfax motels, 2 women in the parking lot of the Mallory Manor motel also identified her. This was 11, eleven days after her disappearing. I called the Jefferson county PD that day. I had to call them again after her body was found. I honestly don't know that investgated the area of questioned the Roy at the Big Bunny motel.
Justice needs to be served, Jeff Co PD needs an overhaul. I absolutely believe that there is a level of transphobia and corruption in the agencies who should be bringing us answers.

Somebody needs to step up much more for trans people. They may announce the bad bills going by but no concrete way to start protecting them from harm!!

Justice for Jax. Where and how she was found is so suspicious and no news or updates are more suspicious!! We want justice and answers!!! The whole community wants answers so we all know we are seen... Please do not let this one also slip through the cracks. Like so many other LGBTQ+ cases... Lakewood and district 3 Denver pd need to figure this the f*** out.
