It is unacceptable for the death of this woman to be treated so callously by the very people we pay our hard-earned tax dollars to protect us. The murderer of Jax must be brought to immediate justice and the police department should be held accountable for their horrific practices in relation to Jax Gratton and how they have handled her case.

I support the family of Jax Gratton on their call for an oversight task force to monitor her death investigation. As a transgender woman Jax is likely to be impacted by prejudice, bias, and transphobia. There have already been many issues with accountability and transparency. Please create an oversight task force to ensure that Jax's investigation is thorough, trauma informed, and trans competent.
