My heart breaks every day, knowing that some of us that struggle the most, touch lives so deeply they make life changing impacts. I spent a good chunk of time throiut covid with Jax. She made an impact on me in ways the vast majority of those I have met can't even meet a fraction of. Change needs to happen. As society actively is attempting to erase us, we will not go away. We share our love and kindness, through the chaos and din we face, the danger evwrytime we step into public. It's time this stops. It's time we reclaim our means of recognition in society, respect, support, and love.
She will be missed, but not forgotten, like so very many of us that are no longer with us.

Sadly I never had the chance to meet Jax personally, but no member of our community deserves to be treated with further indignity after being the victim of a horrendous crime. She deserves more. Her family deserves more. We need to do better.

My name is Kirra, I live in denver, and I am demanding support for the family of Jax Gratton in their call for an Oversight Task - Force to monitor her death investigation. As a transgender woman, Jax is likely to be impacted by prejudice, bias, and transphobia. There have already been many issues with accountability and transparency. Please create an oversight task force to ensure that Jax's investigation is thorough, trauma informed, and trans ompetent. All this matter is handled and resolved will absolutely be a deciding factor in my decisions for upcoming local and state elections.
