In order to ensure that Jax’s life is valued as much as anyone else in our community, we call for the Jefferson County Commissioners and Lakewood City Council to create a joining oversight task-force to monitor the progress of the investigation to ensure that it is trans competent, trauma informed, transparent, and thorough.
We call that the Task Force include (at minimum):
A trans community member
A trans advocate
An individual with experience in advocacy for 2SLGBTQIA+ victims
A representative from the legal community,
