I'm saddened by the fact we are having to sign a petition to ensure tougher laws,when they should be in action already!,It's barbaric that this kind of abuse has gone unnoticed.Our animals who are innocent and vunerable should be protected,makes me sick!.

It's deeply shocking that an innocent pet can be treated like this, while the perpetrator gets off scotfree. Best of luck with this much-needed campaign.

Sentences for those who abuse animals need to reflect the fact that innocent, sentient, defenceless beings are being deliberately harmed by evil people. Currently they don't.

If a person can do this to an animal then they sure as hell won't batter an eye lid to doing it to another human!
