stiffer punishment and people will think twice about the crimes they do. Gang violence is out of control and it is due to laws our lawmakers come up with. I hope that when I sign this petition it will help lawmakers think of what they have created

We lost our loved one over gang initiation as well, a 16 year old killed ours. We had him tried as an adult. They don't get life or death, but do get punished for murder. Science has proven we know right from wrong at 19-22 months old. Obviously, this 17 year old knew he did wrong since he ran. What gets me, they look for their victims. It's premeditated. No one is safe, specially our children until we take back our streets. This man or our own loved one, didn't deserve to die like this!!
