George Floyd, 46, was arrested by police outside a shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota [USA] on a charge of using a $20 counterfeit bill. Footage of the arrest on 25 May shows a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck while he was pinned to the floor and in result thereof, George Floyd died. This being the situation and I consider this a gross violation of human rights as enshrined in the UN Charter of Human Rights. Therefore, civil society and all Global Human Rights Organization are requested to ensure justice for George Floyd.
