Please bring Andrea Hapke and Brad Kesner to justice for the abuse and death of over three hundred animals. This abuse has span over a decade. This case should set a precedent of harsh punishment for animal abuse. Instead it looks the other way. They should have to pay restitution and never be able to breed or own animals again. They have already started a new website to sell Australian shepards and we’re allowed to keep bernese Mountain dogs. Berners have a short life and these dogs have suffered needlessly at the hands of these individuals. Furthermore Andrea Hapke used social media and animal forums, advocating for the breed, while secretly profiting and exploiting the animals for financial gain. By embedding herself in these forums she was expanding her market and victim list of unsuspecting consumers who likely received dogs that will require a lifetime of additional and expense and care due to the breeding practices of Andrea Hapke.

These sub-humans should be locked up in the same conditions that they left these precious dogs in.
This is sick cruel evil and barbaric, they obviously made a huge amount of money from breeding there precious brred of dogs therefore they should be made pay for all vet and boarding costs and NEVER EVER be allowed to own or work with ANY animals for life.

I worked for Andrea in 2017-2018 in her crop insurance underwriting business AND I FIRST HAND took care of some of these poor animals. She was never anywhere to be seen around the kennels, let alone Brad. Brad used to try to bribe their way out of consequences by letting figures of authority have the pick of any litters that were at his disposal. When any of these animals died, whether it was a newborn kitten that didn’t make it or a full grown Aussie that got attacked by one of her Berners, THEY WOULD JUST THROW THESE ANIMALS ON A FREAKING BURN PILE!!!! These poor animals never had a chance from the very beginning and my coworkers and I tried everything we could when we worked for her. Shawna Furhman deserves a medal of some sort for all of the work she has done over the years to try to get these pathetic excuses for human beings caught and justice brought to their doorstep.

These crimes need punishment, they treated their animals so poorly and they depend on their humans. These animals were failed big times. These people have no excuses for these conditions at all! They were not helpless people they were not disabled they were not cripling old, not only that but they are business would we let our restaurants be that disgusting? Or our nursing homes? They had hundreds of animals and seek justices. I’m so tired of people getting away with animal curtly! Justin’s needs served!

Please rescue the rest of the animals. Charges should be made to against them also. Time to set an example. The shear magnitude of animals should tell you there is a problem and it will happen again. Unfortunately there is not enough agents to monitor these people that are left with any animals. There is a mental defect in people that do this. Leaving them with some animals will only encourage them to continue what they’re doing and fill their home and property with hundreds of more dogs and cats. The problem is not solved unless you completely take that problem away and get them the help they need.

If animal abuse is now a federal felony, why when the abuse is right under your nose would you not prosecute? I would like to think that the state of Illinois has SOME laws on the books that address this cruelty.

Ànimals do not deserve to be treated inhumanly. Do the moral /correct thing. Free the remains animals , prosecute these abusers and forbid them from ever having animals again.
