they cant be allowed to keep the titles in any other sport where somebody has cheated they are automatically stripped of their title why should one football club be treated differently

I watched a corrupt sport for over 10 years. I won't get those years back, and the cheating club should not be able to claim those trophies "won" by illegal tax means.

Removing trophies and titles is not a punishment but a consequence of their actions over a prolonged period with no apology forthcoming. Rangers 1872 should have been expelled from Scottish Football.
