One thing to consider is not just the horrific act itself, but the continued cruelty of not giving the family any motive. They deserve full closure. His brazen disregard for the family's sorrow is saddening and aggravating. If he is remorseful, he has yet to show it.

Nathan is only remorseful that he got caught. A remorseful person does NOT go out looking for someone, especially with the victim's sister, knowing where he is and what had happened. On meet-an-inmate.com he states "At the age of 16, I made a tragically callous decision by becoming involved in murder." Becoming involved? He didn't become involved, it was premeditated. Nathan "and his lawyer have retained psychologists and an expert in analyzing prison records to prove the following: 1) that he is rehabilitated, 2) that he is remorseful, and 3) that as a juvenile at the time, he was coerced by Leo Contreras." Coerced? Really? Everything that I see regarding Nathan shows that he still has NOT taken full responsibility for his actions. How can he be remorseful, how can he be sorry, how can he be rehabilitated when he can't even admit to his own faults and actions? Erik considered him a best friend. If he can do this to his best friend just imagine what he could do to anyone else. When he was sentenced it should have been over. It's not fair and it's not right to make the Ingebretsen family and the community relive this tragic event. We, as a community, will be Erik's voice and he WILL be heard. Nathan Ramazzini should never get out of prison for the crime he committed. It's a big mistake of Governor Brown and California lawmakers to have even allowed this to happen. Criminals should never be put ahead of the victims and the victims families. Justice for Erik!
