Why gender-based violence must stop
Gender-based violence destroys lives, families, and communities. Nobody deserves to live in fear because of their gender. It causes physical harm, trauma, and robs people of their safety, dignity, and freedom. When women, men, and children can’t feel safe at home, at school, or in public, society can’t move forward.
Stopping GBV isn’t just about protecting victims - it’s about building a country where everyone has the same chance to learn, work, and live without violence. Respect, equality, and safety are basic human rights, not privileges.
We all have a role to play. Speak up, believe survivors, and teach the next generation that violence is never the answer.
