This is very sad and it still upsets me every time I read this because I also know that dozer boy was very protective of Alivia and would never do anything to protect her. This dog deserves justice and thnk god they had this man put in jail because if they didn't who knows he probobaly would have did the same thing with this little girls cat that she had gotten about a year later.

Dozer was my 4yr olds dog she got for birthday when he left his litter. He was her best friend that she lost because of someone who gets a kick outta being cruel to animals. Dozer was the most gentle dog you could ever hope to find when you make that decision one which dog to bring to the family for your toddler. Amazing family dog that was great with my child. He protected her,played with her,sleeped at the foot of her bed,listened to her, and was nothing but gentle and loving towards her. Got along great with any other animals he encountered threw his life,never once aggressive and was scared of things like bugs and the vacuum. Lol he didn't deserve what happened to him and alivia did not deserve to loose her best buddy in the manner in which he died. He will always be missed and never forgotten. We love you Dozer boy......

If the animal is aggressive, you could have taken him to be put down properly. If it was a child, he would be in prison for life.
