Good teachers are rare....26 years! That in itself speaks to Mr. Scott's commitment to excellence!

I had Doug Scott as a teacher back in 06 and he was wonderful. He absolutely should be allowed to teach.

Mr. Scott was the most important teacher I had in high school! He taught me how important science was, and how to respect it and ourselves! I tell my children to this day what an impact a wonderful teacher like Mr. Scott can have on your life! Mr. Scott has reached many more students than just myself, and we are all outraged over the way the district is treating him!! We will NOT STAND FOR IT!!

I took physiology with Scott at College Park and he is one of the BEST teachers I have ever had. He’s the reason I want to be an ecologist, because he cares about the planet. And he shares the same care for his students to be able to succeed. Anyone who says otherwise has never had a class with him or sat and talked with him. People who say otherwise have never taken the time to see just how awesome of a teacher he is.

Accusing a teacher of 26yrs of something that can get him fired should have merit. 26yrs of kids inspired should be protected and celebrated. He stands for learning. Passion. Science. Kids don't need an easy A. They need a reason to want an A. That has nothing to do with Doug Scott. Sad day when not fitting the "norm" can end a 26yr teaching career. Sad day indeed.

Changing grades for a student by administrators is not acceptable, only a teacher who teaches has the right and knows how the student did in class. This is despicable. Doug has always been an awesome teacher who his students have respected .

I believe that the grade earned while taking a class taught by Mr. Scott. Is the one he handed out. Changing that grade is unacceptable. I stand with Mr. Scott.

Retaliation for Scott is not acceptable. Changing grades for his student is not the school’s job.

As a friend and fellow educator, I have known Deb Scott for over 35 years. I can attest to the quality of his character and he deserves a just process.

Its always a shame when people are judged on their appearance instead of their accomplishments.
